How to Initiate Enrollment and Set Up Jamf Connect in Jamf Pro

Step 1: Access the Enrollment Portal

  1. Open a web browser and go to the enrollment URL provided by your IT department.
  2. Log in with your organization credentials (username and password). https://avita.jamfcloud.com/enroll

Step 2: Download the MDM Profile

  1. After logging in, you will be prompted to download the MDM profile.
  2. Click Download and open the downloaded file.

Step 3: Install the MDM Profile

  1. Open System Settings on your Mac.
  2. Go to Profiles and click on the downloaded MDM profile.
  3. Click Install and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 4: Complete the Enrollment

  1. Once the profile is installed, your Mac will automatically enroll in Jamf Pro.
  2. You may see additional prompts to install configuration profiles and software. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete these installations.
  3. Allow the configuration profiles to run and After about 15 min reboot the computer.

Setting Up Jamf Connect

Step 5: Open Jamf Connect

  1. Open Jamf Connect from the Applications folder.

Step 6: Log In

  1. Enter your organization credentials (username and password).
  2. Click Log In.

Step 7: Sync Passwords

  1. Follow the prompts to sync your local Mac password with your organization password.
  2. This ensures that your Mac login credentials match your organization credentials ( Organization Email credentials)
