EPCS Token Activation
Registering your EPCS token
- Log into eCW
- Go to Menu > Tools > ePrescription > EPCS Register Prescriber

- Select your DEA number from the drop-down
- Enter your email address
- Check the box for terms and conditions
- Enter the token serial number in its entirety (located on the back of the token – should start with GAHE or GALH)
- Click Next

- Click ‘I agree’ once and wait for the page to load
- Enter the required information and click ‘I agree’.

- Answer the questions. Accuracy is crucial.

- You will be prompted for one-time password 1 and password 2
- For one-time password 1, press the white button on the token and enter the code
- Allow the number to disappear from the token
- Generate a second code for one-time password 2; enter code and hit submit
- Click Skip to next in register phone page
- Enter your cell phone number and click send code. The verification code will be sent to the phone as a text message.
- Enter the received code and click Submit
- Click Complete.
- A screen will show indicating the session has timed out. Close this screen, then reopen and click “send reminder”, which will prompt the EPCS approver.
- Your token will remain pending until it is approved in the EPCS console
