Browser closing all pages down when closing out eCW or getting this time-out warning message

If you are having issues with closing eCW and getting this Alert message and the Yes Always is clicked, all of the tabs in your browser will close, and when you go back into the browser, it will ask you if you want to restore all pages. You will have to keep restoring these pages each time.

The workaround for this is:

  1. Right-click on any of the icons on the desktop.

  1. Choose “Open file Location.” A window similar to this will open.
  1. Double Click Startup application.
  1. Expand the Plugin settings view.
    1) Turn off Microsoft Edge Webview2.

2) Turn On Logout Security Alerts, then

3) Turn the Microsoft webview2 back on

  1. Click on Close.

These steps should stop this issue from re-occuring. Please submit an [EHR] Other Issues/Requests if it continues or reappears.
