Setting up Passkeys in Microsoft Authenticator app
This guide will walk you through setting up a Passkey on your Mobile device using the Microsoft Authenticator app
- Go to your Microsoft Profile at: https://myaccount.microsoft.com

- Select Update Info under Security Info as seen below:

- Select Add sign-in method from the Security Info section:

- Select the Passkey in Microsoft Authenticator from the available options:

- Select Next to proceed:

- Open Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device and follow the steps by selecting Create a passkey:

- Select Sign-in to begin the process:

- Type in your password and select Sign-in again:

- You will next be prompted with the number matching for a brief moment. Make note of this as you will need to type it in on the next step:

- Type in the number matching and select Yes to proceed:

- Your Passkey will now be created for you after a few seconds:

- Once created, select Done to finish the process on your mobile device:

- After the passkey has been added in your Microsoft Authenticator, back on your computer select Next to proceed:

- You will see a confirmation of the passkey being created, select Done to finish:

- Once complete, you should see Passkey as one of your available options under Security Info:
