Grant OneDrive Access to Manager for Termed Account

This guide will walk you through granting OneDrive Access for a Termed Employees Account so the Manager can access. For more details, review the Microsoft Guide at:

Access Microsoft 365

Go to portal.office.com

Open My Roles in Azure

Activate "SharePoint Administrator" plus other as needed for the different Admin Centers.

Here is link to HelpDoc for how to activate roles.

Open Admin Center

Select the Admin icon on the left side:

Show All Admin Centers

Select Show All:

Open SharePoint Admin

Select Sharepoint under Admin Centers:

Access More Features in SharePoint

Go to More Features:

Open the User Profiles Features

Open User Profiles:

Manage User Profiles to access their specific permissions

Select Manage User Profiles:

Open Site Collection Owners for this User

Right Click User and select Manage site collection owners:

Add Site Collection Administrators

Add the Managers Email Address and press Enter:

The Site Collection Administrators should now look something like this:

To get the link, temporarily add your admin for access, if it isn't already there:

Open OneDrive for their Personal Site

Right-click and select Manager Personal Site:

Open OneDrive Documents

Select Documents to access the OneDrive files:

Copy the URL link for the new page:

Past the URL into the Term Ticket for the Manager.

Remove Your Admin from Site Collection Administrators

Remember to remove your admin account from the Site Collections:
