How to setup Faxing for a Site Workstation

NOTE: Ring Central will not save your changes automatically. So PLEASE save on every change made

  1. Login to the Admin Ring Central Portal at https://service.ringcentral.com/application/adminHome
  2. Then go to Users > Users with Extensions and search for the extension you want to modify to be able to send faxes:

  1. Then click on the name and go into User Details:

  1. Then under User Details, click on Settings and Permissions:

  1. Make sure Single Sign-on - Enable SSO is turned off. Then click Save:

  1. Now go to User Details > General and scroll down to Email on the bottom right. Update this field with the customer's email address:

  1. If they do not know the password you can reset the password for them by going to the security tab and changing that for them:
    Security tab > Password and PIN > Change
Make a note of the new PIN
  1. Click on the Notifications tab >Messaging Notifications:

  1. Enter the email address where all the notifications need to be sent to:

NOTE: You will need to get the store email and put that in so that if RingCentral has a voicemail, it can be sent to the store email for the customer to retrieve.
  1. Once this has been completed, call the customer and have them login to the RingCentral app on the desktop and then have them test.
